Two calculators that run the real rules
A position size calculator and a drawdown simulator, both built on the functions the engine uses to evaluate your account.
Two tools are now on the site. Both run in your browser and send nothing to us.
Position size
The position size calculator takes an account size, the share of the starting balance you want to risk, an entry and a stop. It returns the quantity, rounded down to the symbol's step, with the notional, the margin at the leverage cap, the taker fees on both legs, and the share of a full day's room the stop would use.
It warns when the stop would use more than half of the day's room, and when the notional would exceed the leverage cap of 5x on majors, which the engine refuses.
Drawdown
The drawdown simulator takes a run of daily results. For each day it shows the anchor, the daily floor, the max-loss floor and the balance, and it stops on the day a limit breaks or the target is met. It uses the same rules functions as the engine, so the floors match what your dashboard would show for the same days.
Neither tool is advice. They are the rules, written as arithmetic.
