Evaluation

What is a crypto prop firm?

A firm that sells evaluations to crypto traders. You pay a fee, trade a simulated account under published rules, and if you pass you trade a simulated funded account and receive a share of its simulated profit as a reward. Nexbitra evaluates BTC, ETH and SOL perpetual futures and pays rewards in bitcoin. The guide What is a crypto prop firm? explains the model and its limits.

What am I buying?

A simulated evaluation account. You pay a one-time fee, trade crypto perpetuals in that account under the published rules, and if you pass you receive a simulated funded account. Rewards on the funded account are paid in bitcoin under the trader agreement. No real capital is traded and no order is sent to an exchange.

What is the difference between Classic 1-Step and 2-Step?

Classic 1-Step has one evaluation phase: a profit target of 8%, a daily loss limit of 4% and a max loss limit of 8%, plus a consistency rule.

2-Step has two phases, 8% then 5%, with wider limits (5% daily, 10% in total), no consistency rule in the evaluation, and a lower fee.

How do I pass?

All of these must hold at the same moment:

  • profit reaches the target;
  • you have traded on at least 3 separate UTC days;
  • you have no open positions;
  • equity never fell below either loss floor.

On Classic 1-Step your best day must also be at most 40% of your total profit. If it is larger, the target rises until it is not, and the dashboard shows that effective target.

What makes an account fail?

Equity below the daily floor or below the max-loss floor, at any moment, measured with the composite mark price. Equal is allowed; one cent below is a breach.

The daily floor is the higher of balance and equity at 00:00 UTC, minus 4% of the starting balance. On a Classic 1-Step 10K account that is $400 of room each day. The max-loss floor is the starting balance minus 8%, and it is static: measured from the starting balance, it never moves.

What happens after a breach?

Open positions are closed at market and the account stops. The breach report shows the moment, the rule, your equity and the floor, the composite mark and each venue's price, and the positions you held.

After a breach in an evaluation phase, the dashboard offers a reset for a limited time: a new account that starts at the phase you breached, with the same rules, for a reset fee. A breached funded account is not reset.

Is there a time limit?

No. The evaluation has no deadline. An account with no trade for 30 days ends.

Can the rules change after I buy?

Not against you. Your account keeps the ruleset it was bought with. A change in your favour may be applied to existing accounts, and you are told when that happens.

Trading

What can I trade?

BTC, ETH and SOL perpetual futures, quoted in USDT. Leverage is capped at 5x on BTC and ETH and 3x on SOL.

Which price decides a breach?

The composite mark price, built from the mark prices of Bybit and Hyperliquid. A spike on one exchange moves it by half at most, and when the two disagree by too much the symbol is marked degraded: a breach on a degraded symbol goes to review instead of failing the account. Every breach report stores the composite mark and each venue's price at that moment.

How are orders filled?

Market orders fill against the live Bybit order book, level by level, so a large order pays the spread and slippage it would pay on the exchange. Fees are 0.05% of notional for taker fills and 0.02% for maker fills.

What happens if an exchange feed fails?

Trading on that symbol pauses until fresh prices arrive. No breach is evaluated on a stale price. Open positions stay open, and you can reduce or close them once the price is fresh again.

When does the trading day reset?

At 00:00 UTC. The new day's floor is set from the higher of balance and equity at 00:00 UTC.

Can I hold positions overnight and at weekends?

Yes. Crypto perpetuals trade every day of the year, and there is no overnight or weekend rule.

Are any strategies prohibited?

Yes: hedging across accounts, copy trading between different people, latency arbitrage, holding several identities, and abusing the daily reset. The rules page defines each one and what happens on a confirmed violation.

Payouts

When and how are rewards paid?

On a funded account you can request a reward every 14 days, the first one 14 days after the account starts, with all positions closed. You receive 80% of the simulated profit. The minimum is $50, one payout is capped at 5% of the starting balance, and the lifetime cap is $100,000. Rewards are paid in bitcoin, on-chain.

How do I receive a payout in bitcoin?

You add a bitcoin address in the app and confirm it from the email we send. A new or changed address waits through a cooling-off period before it can receive a payout. The reward is set in US dollars and converted to bitcoin at the rate when it is sent, and the transaction link is on your payout record. The guide How payouts in bitcoin work covers each step.

Do I need two-factor authentication?

Yes, for the funded account and for payouts. A payout request is blocked while two-factor authentication is off.

If the account is simulated, what is the reward?

A contractual performance reward under the trader agreement, paid by Nexbitra. It is not trading profit from real capital, and it is not wages, salary or an investment return.

Does the consistency rule apply to payouts?

Yes, on both models: your best day must be at most 40% of the profit in the payout window.

Payments

How do I pay?

In bitcoin, on-chain, through a BTCPay Server invoice. Prices are set in US dollars, and the invoice shows the bitcoin amount at the current rate. If the invoice expires before the payment arrives, create a new one from the same page. Your account opens within seconds of the payment confirming.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, in full, until you place your first trade on the account. After the first trade the fee is not refundable. The refund policy has the details.

Do discount codes exist?

Codes are entered at checkout, after you choose the challenge.

Account and KYC

Who can sign up?

Anyone aged 18 or over who does not live in a restricted country. The list of restricted countries is at the bottom of every page.

When do I verify my identity?

After you pass the evaluation and before the funded account is issued. If more than 180 days pass before your first reward request, you verify again.

You upload a passport, national ID card or driving licence and a selfie holding it, and a reviewer checks them by hand.

Can I run more than one evaluation?

Yes, as long as every account is yours. One person, one identity: accounts held for or by someone else are closed.
