How payouts in bitcoin work
A prop firm that pays in bitcoin: when you can request a reward on a funded account, how much it can be, what is checked and how it is paid.
· updated
Rewards on a Nexbitra funded account are paid in bitcoin. Many crypto prop firms pay in stablecoins such as USDT or USDC; we pay bitcoin, on-chain, with the transaction link on your payout record. Here is the whole path, with the numbers from the Classic 1-Step ruleset. The payouts page has them for every model.
What a payout is
The funded account is simulated, like the evaluation. A payout is a performance reward under the trader agreement, paid by Nexbitra from its revenue. It is not a trading profit from real capital, and it is not wages or an investment return.
When you can request
The first request opens 14 days after the funded account starts, and the next ones every 14 days. All positions must be closed when you request. Your best day may be at most 40% of the profit in the payout window; if it is larger, the dashboard shows the profit needed.
How much
Your profit split is 80% of the simulated profit since the last payout. The minimum is $50. One payout is capped at 5% of the starting balance, $500 on a 10K account, and the lifetime cap per funded account is $100,000. The evaluation fee is refunded with the first payout, on top of these caps.
The amount is deducted from the balance and from the day's anchor when you request it, so a payout never counts as a loss against the daily floor.
The steps
- Request the payout from the dashboard. The amount is deducted at once.
- Review. The trades are checked against the rules. Your first payout, and any payout with a risk flag, is reviewed by a person. The payouts page shows the target decision time.
- Payment. The reward is set in US dollars, converted to bitcoin at the rate when it is sent, and sent on-chain to your confirmed address.
- Proof. The transaction link is on your payout record. You may publish it on the payouts page, with or without the amount.
What you need first
- Identity verification, done once after you pass, and again if more than 180 days pass before your first reward request.
- Two-factor authentication on your account.
- A bitcoin address, added in the app and confirmed from the email we send. A new or changed address waits through a cooling-off period before it can receive a payout.
Bitcoin and its price
Your reward is fixed in US dollars until the moment it is sent. After that, the bitcoin in your wallet moves with the market, up or down.
