Profit target
The profit target is the closed profit, as a share of the starting balance, that an evaluation phase needs before it can pass.
Each evaluation phase has a profit target. It is measured on the balance, so open profit counts only once the position is closed.
Targets here
- Classic 1-Step: 8% of the starting balance, or $800 on a 10K account.
- 2-Step: 8% in phase 1 and 5% in phase 2.
On Classic 1-Step the consistency rule can raise the target: if your best day is more than 40% of the profit, the effective target becomes best day ÷ that share. The dashboard always shows the effective target.
Reaching the target is not enough on its own: the minimum trading days must be met and every position closed.
