Paying for a prop firm challenge with bitcoin

Priced in US dollars, paid in bitcoin through a BTCPay Server invoice: the checkout steps, and what happens if a payment is late, short or too large.

Every challenge is paid in bitcoin, and rewards on a funded account are paid in bitcoin too. There is no card payment. This guide walks through the checkout, from the price on the challenges page to the account that opens when the payment confirms.

1. Choose and sign up

Pick a model and a size. Prices are set in US dollars: a 2-Step 10K costs $100 and a Classic 1-Step 10K $110. A discount code, if you have one, is entered at checkout and checked against the order before you pay.

Then create an account with your email address, confirm it, and declare your country of residence. You must be 18 or older and live outside the restricted countries.

2. Confirm two things

Before the invoice is created you tick two boxes: that you understand the account is simulated, and that the fee is refundable only before your first trade.

3. Pay the invoice

The invoice comes from BTCPay Server, an open-source bitcoin payment processor. It shows the amount in bitcoin, converted from the dollar price at the current rate, and an address to pay on-chain from any wallet. Pay the exact amount shown, in one transaction if you can.

  • Seen. The checkout shows the payment as soon as it reaches the network, then waits for it to confirm.
  • Confirmed. The evaluation account is created and becomes active within seconds.
  • Expired. An invoice is valid for a limited time. If it expires before anything arrives, create a new one from the same page.

If something goes wrong

  • Too little. If the invoice expires with only part of the amount paid, the partial payment is refunded to you.
  • Too much. The order is fulfilled and the difference is refunded.
  • Late. A payment that arrives shortly after expiry still completes the order if it covers the full amount.

For anything else, write to support from the contact page with your order number.

Receipts and refunds

A receipt with the dollar total, the bitcoin amount, the rate and the transaction ID is available under Billing in the app. The fee is refunded in full if you ask before your first trade on the account; after that it is not refundable. The refund policy has the details.

After the payment

You trade the evaluation at once. Your identity is only verified after you pass, before the funded account: see identity verification for payouts. Rewards come back the same way the fee went in, in bitcoin: see how payouts in bitcoin work.
